Leveling Hotspots
The canonical XP camps for every level band from 1 to 65.
The established XP camps of Crushbone, band by band. All are canonical Classic-through-PoP zones; Crushbone's ZEM values may shift these rankings live — see ZEM Table.
1–10 — Newbie yard
Stay in your starting city's outer grounds. Every race has one; they all work.
10–15 — First dungeon crawl
- Blackburrow — gnolls, easy pulls.
- Crushbone Keep — orc patrols, easy XP.
- Najena — djinn, tough but rewarding.
15–25 — Paludal territory
- Paludal Caverns — the defining 15-25 zone. Swarm density, high ZEM.
- Unrest — undead, great for Paladins.
- Befallen — first serious dungeon.
25–35 — Mid-game
- Sol B — kobolds, fire giants.
- Mistmoore — undead + gothic flavor.
- Upper Guk — frogloks in ruined city.
- Oasis — outdoor, crocodiles, spectres.
35–45 — Deeper dungeons
- Lower Guk — the darker guk.
- Kurn's Tower — Iksar, tight camps.
- Sol B — deeper content.
45–55 — Prime dungeon grind
- Karnor's Castle — the 45-55 standard.
- Chardok — Royals camp, charm-duo paradise.
- Velks Labyrinth — Velious equivalent.
55–65 — Endgame prep
- Seb — the iconic Kunark endgame dungeon.
- Crystal Caverns — Velious.
- Plane of Valor — PoP first plane.
- Halls of Honor — PoP mid-tier.
65 — Cap play
- Plane of Fire, Plane of Water, Plane of Earth, Plane of Air
