Rogue Epic 1.0 — Ragebringer
The Rogue's iconic piercing weapon. Pickpocket + Chardok chain.
The Rogue Epic 1.0 rewards Ragebringer — the defining Rogue weapon of the Classic-Kunark era. Piercing, dual-wield-friendly, with a signature Rage proc. The chain is notable for its pickpocket-gated phase.
Reward
- Ragebringer — 1-handed piercing.
- On-hit: Rage proc (damage + aggro dump to tank).
- +DEX / +STA.
Chain shape (approximate)
- Starting turn-in — Rogue guild (Freeport for non-evil, Neriak for Dark Elf, Qeynos for good).
- Pickpocket phase — pickpocket specific items from named NPCs. Requires high Pickpocket skill and patience. Some named have low pickpocket chance.
- Chardok step — kill a named in Chardok's Royal chamber or Servant quarters. Usually requires a group.
- Classic raid step — kill a raid-level named in a Classic plane.
- Final combine — at an Indigo-Brotherhood-aligned altar or Freeport Dark Bargainers hall.
Why this chain matters
Ragebringer's Rage proc lets Rogues hold their own on melee DPS charts without stealing aggro from the tank (the proc includes a small aggro-dump). It's a defining piece of Rogue identity.
Custom race-class note
Rogue is flexible. Most races have a starting guild somewhere (Freeport or Kelethin). Custom race-class rogues (e.g., Ogre Rogue) still need faction at one of those guilds. See Faction for Custom Combos.
