Wizard Epic 1.0 — Staff of the Serpent
The Wizard's iconic caster staff. Chain culminating in a raid kill.
The Wizard Epic 1.0 rewards Staff of the Serpent — a caster staff with nuke-plus-stun click effect. The chain is shared in lore with the Enchanter Epic, but the reward and proc effects differ between classes.
Reward
- Staff of the Serpent — 1-handed caster staff.
- Click: Nuke + stun.
- +INT / mana bonuses.
Chain shape (approximate)
- Starting turn-in — Wizard guild in your home city.
- Arcane component phase — collect specific spell-related items from Classic-Kunark zones. Some require kills in fire-themed areas.
- Temple of Solusek Ro step — named kill in a Solusek-aligned zone (Sol A or Sol B deep chambers).
- Raid dragon or elemental kill — the defining mid-chain raid step.
- Final combine — arcane altar, usually at the starting Wizard guild.
Why this chain matters
The click nuke-stun adds a DPS-plus-utility button to a class otherwise focused purely on mana-to-damage conversion. For raids where a specific mob needs interrupting, the Wizard Epic is a tool in rotation.
Custom race-class note
Wizard is widely accessible across races. Home city varies; training and starting turn-ins are usually doable at PoK for custom combos, but the final guild turn-in requires faction to that city.
