Magician Epic 1.0 — Staff of Elemental Mastery
The Magician's pet-enhancing staff. Elemental-plane chain.
The Magician Epic 1.0 rewards Staff of Elemental Mastery — a caster staff that enhances Magician pets and provides a click-to-empower-pet ability. The chain passes through elemental zones and culminates in an elemental lord kill.
Reward
- Staff of Elemental Mastery — 1-handed caster staff.
- Click: Buff pet (haste + stats).
- Passive: Pet-enhancement aura.
Chain shape (approximate)
- Starting turn-in — Magician guild (Ak'Anon is most common).
- Elemental component phase — collect items from fire, water, earth, and air elementals across Norrath. Sol B (fire), Kedge Keep (water), Lake Rathe (earth), Plane of Air (air, if accessible).
- Kunark step — pet-related turn-in at a Kunark outpost.
- Velious raid step — named elemental kill, usually coordinated with a guild.
- Final combine — at an Ak'Anon elemental altar.
Why this chain matters
The Staff's passive pet-aura and click-buff push the Magician's pet to a performance tier that out-DPS's many melee classes on parses. For pet-focused Mages, the Epic is transformative.
Custom race-class note
Magician is restricted in canonical EQ to Human / Erudite / Gnome / Dark Elf. On Crushbone any race can roll. Ak'Anon (Gnome home city) is the most common starting point; non-Gnome Mages will still need Ak'Anon faction for the starting turn-in.
